In April, Nick Kumm, who is president of the Marshfield Kiwanis’ Club, invited me to lunch and to speak about Kenya.  This is an incredible group of civic- minded people who are generously helping in various areas.

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone during lunch and getting to know them.  The lunch was excellent, and the conversations were interesting.  Also, it was a lot of fun talking to them about Kenya.  I truly appreciated their interest and their questions.  A special thanks to Carl Scott for donating his winnings from their raffle to One Woman in Kenya.  He was very thoughtful, as was everyone else.
